Parking Division Timeline
1968: 1st parking terminal built in France
1995: 1st solar-powered parking terminal, remotely managed and accepting bank card payment (Stelio range)
2001: All paperless payment methods integrated (Strada Evolution range)
2003: Parkeon was formed after the spin-off of the parking & ticketing division of Schlumberger
2013: 1st multi-service kiosk, with an interactive colour screen, with solar energy, accessible to people with reduced mobility (StradaPal range)
2015: Multi-services terminal and mobile phone integrated in one application

1982: Wayfarer 1 bus ETM launched – the first electronic ticket machine
1986: Launched the first Magnetic Card Validation solution on bus
1988: Wayfarer 3 bus ETM launched – first steps towards smart ticketing technology
1991: The first transit smartcard scheme launched in New Zealand
1994: The first contactless transit smartcard launched in Liverpool, UK
2000: TGX150 ETM launched- first thermal printing solution
2005: First supplier to gain ITSO certification in the UK
2007: Parkeon acquires Wayfarer in Poole, England
2008: RSP certification achieved for TVM range for UK rail
